Final evaluation...

So we are all back to reality...

Almost 2 weeks from when we have ended the project... 2 weeks we have passed there and still for me it is difficult to accept that is ended, we are all return to our regular life, job, study and others, looking back I understand how much fortune has been for me having the opportunity to belong to this experience. To have known people from the most different cultures with the most varied mentality and experiences of life, to work in so intense way, socialize in different situations is just something that I will bring with me for my whole life.

 I have reached my purpose (what I wanted when I decided to go and take part of this program), I wanted that, confront myself with others, in the cultural sense, in the way to see things, in the way to work, I also wanted to see and understand how the nurse is view in the different countries, how they work, how they study, in the end I moved to Italy for that reason too. I was desperate to have another experience to see how things were there and how this could influence my carrier and my job.

This project according to me is something special because not only you can have some of the information respect the studies in the universities of the different countries but also allow us to compare directly and to have a look both the positive aspects and negative of it , the different theories of learning, the aspects that concern the placement, what every country consider been most important, the main point, as there possibility also to know more respect the possible exchange, and for me it's almost an obbligation that every student should do... this not just make you growing up in the mental way, but increase your abilities and makes you understand how can people be so different but in the same way so similar.

It clear up my mind regarding the profession, regarding the future and not just the nearest future but also in a long-term way. It's just amazing have the possibility to practice in any part of the world...the Whole project was good in their own, the WIKI is fantastic because like that we can reach informations quickly and have the opportunity to choose the perfect match for what you want to. I remember when I was searhing for informations, a totally mess and in the end I just couldn't arrive in a conclusion... like that is much better because you can have informations regarding the university and the city from other students so people that suppose to have the same interesting as you.

The project was constructed in a very good way, althought for me it last to little time ( it could had been 3 weeks...), but since we have technology we have to use it and having access to meet each other on facebook and knowing a little bit of their life and thoughts it was fundamental... and the Blog, that was just amazing, it's very nice to have a place where you can just put it down what it cames on your mind, your feelings...

In the end I just wish to have another experience like that again, who knows, maybe next time as a mentor ;)

Thank's from the bottom of my heart, I received something that it was so precious, Knowledge, and for that I will keep every single one in a place of my very good memories

The end...or almost!

2 weeks...and sometimes it looked like 3 days or 1 month!!!
I must say that I was pretty much confused in the beggining, not having a single clue for what we supposed to do and then....
Voilà!! Create a digital story talking about education and working exchange for nurses in the EU countries. But wait a second, a digital story?? What??? desperation in the pure sense!! Although I had
work for 5 years in the Marketing field the system of working it was never like that, far away actually,
there the meetings and the projects were choosen and started weeks before and even if there was some project with a deadline very fast it was about subjects that we knew, that it was our work, so not that difficult to make it. Today I start to think how we can be manipulated so working in a certain way for many years you just have a lot of difficulties to change it, plus in my country there is another way to work, to think...in Italy is even another way so...wow. That's why it was strange for me but in the other hand this is an intensive program
( so not much time ) and I'm almost sure it was make it on purpose to see how and if we could manage to work between us ( many countries, many visions, few time!! )
The result is: I really like it!!! The work came very, very good...

And now I feel prepared to talk about the Wiki... this one, the new one, is make in a very good way!! I remember when I was searching a place to make my course and it was so hard to find nice informations, some universities already have everything written in their websites but a lot of others don't...I just hope that many other countries can join it and become part as well of this lovely idea...

Waiting for tomorrow, evaluation, conclusion, big and important day....

And so far...

Very good!!
So the first week just finished and until now I've made some reflections about many different things to try to have a picture in a whole!

Since we went to visit the hospital that actually covers not only the city of Pori but the whole district of Satakunta, I was very impressed how organized they are... I have in mind the hospitals in Florence and the ones in my own country so I had to make some comparisons :). We all have different ways to work and to deal with problems, but in the end there is one link the connect us and is the fact we all want to arrive at the perfect solution, so yes, we have differencies but yes, we all work for the best of our patients.

Then there was the presentation of the countries and studies system, very impressive to!! Funny how some countries are very similar to others and some are very different. The food market was a such great experience ( I have to confess!! I loved every country, I love food, I'm a truly gastronomic person!!).

Next we had some learning theories, and again another confession, I remember some things because of my classes in Italy but I didn't remember that good so it was great to refresh my memory and to think how all of the countries can use different learning theories at university.

The fraternization was a wonderfull tought, having sauna, ice swimming, roasting sausages togheter it can look just a trip out door but it's a way where people socialize and interact, important companies do that with their workers because it makes the team work better after and it was just what happened.

In the end I just thought how beeing so different but in the same way so similar can make the contact much easier, yes we have different cultures, different way to see life, different tastes, but we pretty much are interacting very good togheter, finding our point to be able to work togheter, respecting our point of views and making a good "soup".

And maybe the answer is again, we are all working for the same reason, so, there is no differencies that can disturb, they are just going to improve everything and make it better!!

so the second day just gone and if before I was thinking now I'm sure: this is going to be one of the most beautifull experiences ever!!!
I hope to be able to give everything the program need and hopefully I'm going to have it back to!!
So...YAYYYY

Our goals has been given and now we are going to start the work...thinking about the nursing profession in the whole EU countries and also about the nursing students ( of course rsrsrs).

So let's start the work and good luck everyone!!!

Restarting

Well, first day back to the stage after a wonderful Christmas holiday... and I have to say that I'm actually very happy, today it was a very busy day we were without 2 nurses so totally insane but it's good because like that you can learn so much and do so many things!!!
I hope tomorrow I will be able to write a little bit more, specially to write something about the wiki...

By the way I'm very happy, it's already something new in my life that MINE is the
wonderful responsable for...!! Just hope to do in the wright way so I'm counting with you
guys to help me!!
I just arrived from my Christmas holidays and unfortunately without snow, even if I was in
Belgium it looks like this year the snow is just not wishing to show it.
Can't wait to go to Finland to meet all you there and start our changing ( skills, ideas...)
